Hampton Inn Lacrosse/Onalaska

When my company booked this hotel, I had no say in it. It was done for me. Before checking in, I read other reviews, and they were not wrong about this place. Upon checking in, I was told by the front desk staff that the hot tub is not working.. I chuckled at that a little bit as that was in a lot of the reviews that I had read previously. I was told that gets hot. It just doesn't bubble. Okay, it's not a big deal. I wasn't planning on using it anyhow. The other things that were stated in prior reviews were NOT wrong at all. For example, the long black hairs on the shampoo bottles and on the shower floor, inside of the refrigerator, ALL over the place! Now, speaking of the refrigerator, which was again, previously reviewed on, I bought a few items, placed them in the fridge, and turned it on, thinking, well that was the problem, they didn't turn the fridge on. Nope, the next morning, my coffee creamer and everything else that I put in there all went in the trash as they were room temperature because the fridge NEVER turned on at all! FIX THE FRIDGE ISSUE! You have enough negative reviews on it. Fix it!! Also, if you are looking for a quiet place, don't come here. Noise from the next-door highway is constant and so loud that you would think that the window was open. You can hear every little peep from the hallways, and if you have someone in the room next to yours or above yours, good luck sleeping! Breakfast is edible at most, and I gave a 3 star to the service because of the issues not being addressed previously, but the front desk folks are nice.

Andrew at the front desk is really good at his job and working with people and it should be recognized i stay in a lot of hotels for work and a lot of them dont want to talk. Andrew you can have a conversation with him and he helps out in any question or task from what I seen. Again Andrew that works at the front desk should be recognized. Also great hotel comfy pools warm and hot tub is even better not to mention a top notch breakfast!

Stayed here this past weekend while in town visiting our son. Location was super convenient, close to lots of different stores and restaurants. Room was clean, room décor could use some updating though. Not sure what was going on with the pool. The air in there was up in the 90's. I know the outside temps prior to us being there were super high but didn't make sense why the pool area would be that warm as well. I would recommend and I I would stay there again.

I'm up here for business. This is the second week I've been up here and both weeks that I've been here I've had a refrigerator not working. Have had to throw food out every single time because of it not being cold (refrigerator temperature is up as far as it can go). When I'm up here for my third week I definitely will not be bringing any refrigerator stuff with me. I also don't feel like there's enough Lighting in the rooms. I felt like I was sitting in the dark half the time. The hot tub also doesn't work. On a positive note the breakfast is awesome.
